About Homeland Interiors

In 2018, I was working as a contractor for a large interior design firm in Bangalore. I watched clients receive beautiful 3D renders that bore no relation to what was actually installed in their homes. Subcontractors had no stake in the outcome. Change orders were charged at three times the original rates. Clients who had invested ₹15–20 lakhs were unhappy, and had no recourse.

I started Homeland Interiors in 2019 with one principle: everything we promise goes into the contract, and we deliver exactly that. Every carpenter, painter, and electrician on our projects is part of our in-house team or a long-term partner we supervise directly. We own the quality end to end.

We chose to work exclusively in South Bangalore — not because we couldn't operate elsewhere, but because knowing a neighbourhood deeply makes a difference. When I visit a flat in JP Nagar Phase 2, I already know to check for load-bearing wall positions, to ask about the monsoon seepage history, and to account for the society's 10am–5pm work restriction. That local knowledge is built over years, not something you can fake.

Six years and 150+ projects later, that's still the approach. I still attend every new client site visit personally.
